i dont see how we are favourites, but i guess if we did sign chopra and roberts - it would be more realistic! I think we have to calm down a bit though, we played well at times but i thought we looked a little shaky at the back to be honest. Most people said we looked comfortable, but to me it seemed every time Barnsley came forward, we gave them too much space and struggled to clear our lines. On another day, we could have easily let in 2 or 3 goals. But just grateful we won! Anything below play offs, id be dissapointed with, but think favourites is a bit unrealistic

agree totally, so dont fancy mcboro. buying every single scottish player in the uk does not a good team make. certain they will choke it.
and i think we are deserved favourites this season (the other 2 or 3 when we have been have been the biggest joke in football), purely on the fact we have great manager who knows how to get promoted, brought 3 great players so far, and are getting rumoured to nearly every other player for sale and the biggest win of the first day all adds up.

And since they have to safeguard in case our owners one day suddenly deciding to unclench, our prices will always be distorted somewhat - imagine if they'd priced us fairly at mid-table and then we signed Chopra and Roberts for £20k a week each.

The other thing is - bookies aren't there to accurately judge events, they're not pundits. If we win 4-0 first day and some people still think we're billionaires then it's the bookies job to tempt that misguided punter into parting with his cash.
