bednar situation is very similar to adel. west brom were willing to sell month and half back, gianni and neil met the player and wasnt keen but now that no one else has come in for him hes intrested!

To be honest mate, we're not going to be high on many players lists as a first choice club. We've had interference from board level, a high turnover of managers and a set of fans unwilling to give players a chance before they've kicked a ball. I'd like to think the first two points have changed, but the damage has been done. If we manage to persude Bednar and Taarabt, as well as Walters, I think we're on for a good start. That will lead to interest from other players in Jan and we won't be looked upon as a gamble.

I'm happy to take both Bednar and Taarabt as sloppy seconds as both would be great improvements on the squad and will take us to the next step.
