ok, have i missed something? Somebody seriously thought leon clarke was Adel? I have no idea how you can mistake a player being face to face with them, from your own team. Ive seen it all now.

So Taarabt has been with us for the last 2 seasons, is always in the news for one reason or another, including programmes, and fans still don't know what he looks like. Something wrong me thinks!

It must have been a wind up but if not its simply unbelievable that some do not know the difference

Do you know a case of mistaken identity from a distance maybe understandable but the fact that someone has claimed that they SPOKE with Taarabt I cannot get my head round.

One's from Dudley and the other has a Arabic accent and people wonder why posters with ITK info get slated, I feel vindicated.

On a serious note it is actually good news, because the whole 2 year contract related to the deal Clarke penned.

I still can't get over the fact that poster actually spoke directly with Clarke and it didn't dawn on him at least that Taarabt was not even English. Could you imagine what this done for Clarkes confidence as this fan walk away punching the air with joy.

This whole story has made me smile, I was outside the main entrance when he left and my son asked who he was an I said Leon Clarke and he wanted his autograph. He signed his photo in the season ticket book and then others came and got autographs and one bloke and his son got a photo. As far as I was aware there was no misunderstanding who he was.
