We have no money to pay the reported £500,000 so we will be giving them Stewart instead of cash ?

Wouldn't that mean the fee we pay them would go up?

Doubtful. NW wants 2 more strikers and they will undoubtedly cost money. My guess is that he is killing 2 birds with one stone, we are signing a good RB for the Championship and are offloading an inept and un-needed CB at the same time.

Very shrewd business by the club.

              Agree!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Stewart does make mistakes, but is very useful in the air. if we dont replace him, itd be good to see Hill coem in at centre back, and a new left back brought in. Hall would be a liability - but I cannot see us replacing him

Nah, doesn't fit in with the conspiracy theory

So they want Nicky Hunt to replace Orr. I am not sure we wouldn't be better off going after Hunt ourselves.

Orr is the better player, don't worry about that.

TBH I don't know much about Orr at all. Hear good things (on the pitch) and some rumours of not so good (off it). So I'm fine with him. But I have always thought Hunt was a good solid defensive-minded RB. Happy to see him at HQ.

City have agreed a deal to sign Queens Park Rangers defender Damion Stewart for an undisclosed fee.

                          The six-foot, three-inch centre-half arrives on a three-year contract.

Jamaican international Damion began his career in his own country with Harbour View before being snapped up by Bradford City in 2005 on a season-long loan.

His excellent performances for the Bantams prompted QPR to pay a six-figure fee for the defender a year later.

He played more than 150 times for QPR and earned their Player of the Year honour in 2008/09.

The deal is subject to Football League clearance. Damion has passed a medical.

So we should be announcing Orr soon then?
