    Was Warnock Misled?

I am sure he would not have taken this job if he didn't feel there would be plenty of money to be spent. He seemed generally exited at the prospect. Now that the funds don't seem to be there, maybe he feels as pissed off as many of us. If things don't improve, and what we have at the moment will not make top 6, will he walk at some stage?

Totally misled and not to forget, massively naffed off over the Ambrose saga....................................in fact he was so naffed off he left to become Foolham manager...................must be true because someone posted it on here as a nailed on fact, and it was then bolstered by some all knowing palarse fan........................so yeah, he will be sitting at home now picking at the scabs, sulking and throwing darts at the tight gits that blocked him from signing those he has to date and refused to give him ten pence to go and buy some bubble gum for tonights match.

im always gonna get dug out cos i refuse to sit back and see people making up stories about rangers during the best time in our recent history.
i actually truly believe there is a sector of fans that are so happy being miserable and totally enjoy our lack of success and thats why they make up mad stories that are miles away from anywhere near the truth, cos its all they have got to keep the unhappiness going in their lives.

I heard he had resigned already because the club had made him look an idiot because he keeps telling us that he will get 2 or 3 more players.

But, IF he does get 2 or 3 more players, then the moaning on here will change from it's current guise of tight gits won't buy anyone to tight gits won't spend enough and the ones we bought only came here cos no one else wanted them - just waiting for people to say they won't go tonight because it should be free

Can't agree more As for tonight I think £5 is a great price and can't wait to see the lads.

I am With GTP there is no evidence to back up statements about the board not backing warnock with funds.where anywhere does it say that warnock has asked for this palyer and the board has said no..ambrose chose to stay with palace the fee the terms the medical everything was agreed..not the board refusing to pay more..if fact we offered him more money than he is getting at Palace...

Why do our fans love to hate their own club!

I agree with you but the proof to back up your comment would be two strikers (not free ones) and in the basis the season starts next Saturday and if they wanted someone and was prepared to pay the going rate, they would be here.................... but they are not.

So no one thinks Flavio might still be having an influence. And if he was misled, and i repeat, if, he wouldn't be the first manager to be promised the earth and got very little, and i am not just talking about QPR managers.

the reason its such a hard struggle for warnock to get a striker is for one reason and one reason only, and that is cos there is so many skint rubbish clubs in the premiership. and most ccc standard strikers are being offered contracts by them for the premiership (take harewood and stead by blackpool for instance), and every player in the country would rather go to the premiership if given that offer cos of the prestige, money and sponsorship capabilities etc.
its just so difficult to get a good man these days, and warnock is not a panic type of manager, he will bide his time till he gets someone whos right for him and right for our club.
