He makes a lot of mistakes though and cost us many games.... more than we won.

Fitz Hall on the other hand costs us practically every game he plays in.

Rather him than Hall in the team any day of the week and is MUCH more of a Warnock-type Central Defender than Hall, Connolly or Gorkks.

I personally think Stewart is the worst we've got. I for one will be glad to see the back of him. I bet even Clarke will bag a hat-trick against him this season.

Massive mistake letting Stewart go, have never been the biggest fan but as it stands he is the best defender we have and the reason being is because he is

- the fastest
- the strongest
- the best in the air
- scorer of goals
- bravest / fully committed

of any defender in the squad, without him in the squad or replaced we are going to get exposed. In fact so much so I'd move Legiertwood to CB to cover the loss.

You need a no nonsense centre half in this division and selling Stewart means we will not have one.

That is so right and looks like Fitz is staying now.

If Stewart leaves I will start questioning Warnock for the first time having given him the benefit of the doubt on his transfer decisions up to now.

I just can't see how we can afford to let Stewart go, it just doesn't make sense as you will have to go out there to replace him and probably spend more money in doing so. Fitz Hall will be on the physios table come September and well Connolly won't do a job there the way Stewart can despite being massively over rated by our fans I don't think he is up to it.
