What a pointless thing to say. If Football was not about results, you would not get 3pts for a win and 0 for losing. Following your logic through to a conclusion, we play the best football ever, but because we draw and loose to many games we got relegated. Would this happen no, because it is a results business and after 10-15 games the manager would be sacked and replaced with someone to GET RESULTS.

You know his constant battering of Taarabt is starting to grate on many a poster.

Paul seems to think he is a bit of an authority on the game yet the way he'd have us playing would have supporters cashing in our season tickets left, right and centre.

Adel's attitude is constantly questioned by him but I see a non drinking, religious and community man who has only demonstrated a degree of petulance on the pitch and been a bit naive listening to his agent off it. The way he goes on you'd have thought AT had been reported in the tabloids on some sort of assault or sex charge, whilst falling out of nightclubs at 3am every night.

We question players confidence / ambitions all the time but here we have a 20 year who has it in abundance. So we are not Adel's preferred choice of club, I can totally understand but if we are lucky enough to secure his signature then I have no doubt he'll go on to be a Rangers Legend who will be fully committed to the club.

To sign for QPR will be a career defining moment for Taarabt who due to his personality has made it difficult for managers to give the sort of time required to nuture his ability, unless of course he drops down a level and comes and plays for a manager like Warnock, then watch him fly.

It could well be spin. It could well be that Warnock decided the numbers and he wants to sign a traditional number 2 and number 7. Or it could be that with Routledge gone players from last season wanted to keep their old numbers and that Ramage wanted 22 which is the day he was born. Who knows it might for once not be a ploy to sell STs. Unless you are telling me that people buy STs based on the fact that we don't have a number 2 or 7?
