Not really. Quote today from the Bristol City #2 saying its been "unbelievable hard this summer" to bring new players in. Im guessing by the lack of activity from all the leagues this applies to all clubs and not just Bristol City. Its also well known that strikers are the hardest players to sign so put the 2 together and that answers why.
