Despite being brought up on a diet of Bowles, Givens, Thomas, etc.. I think Sir Les is a good choice. I'd add possibly Clive Allen or a young Gallen, in other words a top class striker is what we need right now....

clive allen without a shadow of a doubt. i had the pleasure of watching both him and les from the very starts, even used to go and watch cliive in the youths, and there is not a lot in it, but allen is deffo marginally the better goalscorer imho.
allen and goddard was like poetry in motion.
