I do agree with you but I would believe someone who went to see the game rather than the person who didn't but that's just me.

We have visits from over 60 countries on this website and that's the reason we try to film as much as we can, to keep them updated.

If someone goes to a game and watches it, they will give an opinion on what they have seen. Anyone who does not go to that game, will get an impression based on write-up and reports, the view of the game. Thats the same with players that performed that game

True, but if u ask ten people going to the same game they probably have ten different opinions. Some of em the same as the guy who watches 2-3 games/year. Question is, doesn´t everyone have the right to have an opinion?
Isn´t it up to readers of the msb to use their own thinking regarding what they agree with or not?

so my son was a fan until last summer, then became a follower as hes in oz for a year and then in august will become a fan again? even though he has a s/t and a seat with his name on it (and random peeps sitting in it this year)

a mate of mine who lives in melbourne sits down and reads every report in the british papers and judges that way.he also listens to every commentary.i send him as many video clips as i can so he can put the words into pictures so to speak.he's a lot more informed than some of the so called fans who live here and never go,health and money reasons considered of course.

Fans who live abroad use the Internet and media to keep in touch and they can base opinion on what they read to be true.

You get to see much more being at the game and that's not rocket science.

I think we have great World/Europe support and most make the effort to come over for a game. Its not cheap, and hats of to them for making the ffort.
By the same token, you get one or two that try and create arguments, when they haven't attended ONE match for years.

Do u mean that only the people seeing every game, or almost every game, can have an opinion that differs from the majority? Please explain.

Certainly not what I am saying and I think you know it. It can be twisted, but ALL FANS AND SUPPORTERS WHO LIVE ABROAD AND CANNOT GO TO GAMES ARE A VALUABLE ASSET ( in case it get diluted) but should they be telling others how to view the club?

If we are gooing debate this, what do you gage your opinion on? What others say?

So, I was brought up in Shepherd's Bush and I've been a supporter for 40 years and now I'm a follower for 5 years (even been to games on trips back) because one of my family got ill and needed to be treated abroad?

I think the supporter police should confiscate all my programmes, my scarf, my autographed pictures and tell me who I can 'support'.

support is a given whether you live in russia or runnymead.you can be a supporter if you live abroad its all about having passion for your club.

Everyone is allowed an opinion you should know that Pete as it is you mantra !!! Even people that go every week sometimes give really strange opinions as you should well know also

but in direct answer to your question ... i see no reason why report's opinion is any less valid than yours. :devil:
