Why did Ecclestone, Briatore and Mittel buy into QPR?

What exactly are their motives? If they wanted success on the field, they could afford to play a higher stakes game than what they are currently doing. The argument about the club running a tight budget, living within its means and not spending what we don't have simply doesnt wash with me.

We are running up huge debts on a weekly basis so why don't the board up the ante and spend more to get in some decent goalscorers?

If they are serious about building the club up, why haven't they already started building an academy indoor facility and extending even more into local communities?

Why haven't plans been made to expand the capacity of Loftus Road for when we arrive in the higher league?

What are our owners plans i wonder?

I agree with what you are saying...

Did they invest in us to make money though? Certainly they wouldn't have wanted to make huge losses but those guys could've invested their money elsewhere as a 'safer' return on their money.

If they invested in QPR as a plaything then why don't they bleedin well play with it and get us where we all want to be!
