Washing money is a theory I heard a few times, high wages and minimal fees are the best way to do this apparently, not an expert maybe an accountant can shed some light on how this is done.

I'm sure Uncle Gianni would be best placed to facilitate such a process if it was taking place.

If I owned a football club and I had a 'slush fund' which had lots of cash in but I could not explain to authorities if they ever asked, where it came from, then from this fund I find ways to pay for renovation work, settling of outstanding loans, players, wages etc and in return I received IOU's and when the IOU's were are paid in full, if the authorities ever ask where the cash came from, i'd have proof.

I am not suggesting anyone has done this, only asking if this is possible.

They are not silly and knew the money we was losing, so why not invest in us?
Those long contracts were only handed out after the new board came in, all our players before were on peanuts and would end up leaving on a free, we wouldn't make a penny on sales and they wanted to change things and offered 3 year contracts, problem now is that we can't sell them, hopefully they will sort that out this time.

If they intended to wash money they would have gone to an Italian Club - corruption and such shennanigans far easier to achieve there.

Very valid question. I've been asking for ages what their game plan is - ie are we (don't laugh) still a "project" with champions league ambitions - or have they lost interest and are just pootling along in the hope someone will buy them out? Looking at what is going on it is virtually impossible to discern any strategy whatsover. Its funny that even people who claim to be ITK and presumably talk to influential people at the club don't seem to have any take on this whatsoever. Or if they do they keep it v much to themselves.

Maybe we should write them a communal We are the Rent Boys communal letter, because judging by this post a large number of us are completely mystified, leading some to jump to extremely negative and damaging conclusions (one I don't agree with BTW but I full accept I can't offer you an alternative explanation).

cut out the name calling just because you don't like someone's opinion.

                              Sorry Sir.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
