imho derry and hill are exactly what we need. leaders and battlers. last season we had the talent, just not the fight. we now have both.

what will finish us off is a couple of decent strikers - better than mackie and clarke.

and then we will almost be there - aside from another right back as it looks like ramage will be used as a CB. and then hopefully a L/RM (McAnuff)

i think these players bring the leadership and organisational quality to the team, rather than talent. I think the talent will come - but id be concerned otherwise

Agreed, let us not forget we already have some talented players, Buzz, Rowlands, Cookie (if he can re-gain his form), Faurlin, add to them some hard working, well organised leaders then the recipe for a successful team is starting to come together.

Having said that we are still desperate for a quality goalscoring striker otherwise we won't even make the play-offs.

Clarke, Mackie and even Tarabbt (if we did get him) would not be the answer to that problem.
