It is 2 June, very little business has been done by anyone.

NW has stated he has a target list of about 30. Out of those he is probably expecting to get 6-8. Some of those will be, from our perspective, unexciting squad fillers who may or may not come good. Early example being Clarke.

We know from actual comments in the media NW is trying to sign some very good players. Bear in mind we are a small club and the better the player the bigger the teams after them. Speroni an example of this. We will lose out on many of these but hopefully given a month or so we will manage to nab a couple.

Come end of July I suspect we will have a very different looking squad and whilst we will probably not challenge for top 2 I would expect us to be much improved and hopefully sniffing around play offs. NW is a top manager. The future may actually not be that bad.

All joking aside,and I am just guessing, I would assume that Warnock has quite a few targets.For sure - the ones no one wants, will arrive first....Mackie And Clarke.The better quality of player i would assume take time.Not saying that mackie and Clarke are sh@t...indeed maybe Warnock might mould them into better players...just think the better players will take time....Like Hill and Derry

i think he's rented a caravan in leysdown , if your lucky you might catch him in the arcades , he gets very excited as it brings back all the memories of cleethorpes as a kid . or failing that he'll be playing prize bingo trying to win 20,000 tokens for an action man for his son, or you might catch him on a deck chair with a handkerchief on his head.
