Been told by a mate who 'has friends in high places' and all that, that Ambrose believes we are trying to get him on the cheap and thats why he's refusing to sign. He believes that as he scored 20 odd goals last season he is worth more than the 750,000 we agreed with the admin lot and he wants to see Palace get more for him.

Mmmmmm I don't think a player would be that bothered what he goes for, unless he wanted a percentage of the sale? IMO I think it boils down to the fact that the embargo on Crystal Palace has delayed things such as transactions etc.
