Im not overly excited about Clarke i'll be honest but i kind of expected signings like this from NW. He obviously sees something in Clarke that he likes and that is good enough for me.
And for all those who are moaning that we aint spending big dough.....maybe just maybe NW is saving his money for the likes of Speroni and Ambrose.

Even if he is saving his money for speroni and ambrose i won't be impressed - we need three class strikers if we are to get promoted. why is that so difficult to understand?

My opinion is that he isnt the best but Warnock is building a squad, he will be a decent squad player and he is free. I still have faith in the summer ahead and i wont get out my pram...That money we hoped we would spend is still there, just because weve taken up the option of clarke doesnt mean we wont still be going for hooper, speroni, ambrose etc etc...

Oh and before the news hits, when hill signs my opinion on him will be the same as clarke.

so if he doesnt make the grade then he will just sit in the reserves picking up a good wage,thats just what we need! is there anything what he has done in his career to think otherwise?....i think not!!!
