Anyway, back to the topic of this thread, I am not looking forward to the start of the season as much as I did one year ago. Too many false dawns over the recent years, one becomes overcautious. The Icelandic ash situation is not helping, if I cannot fly in or return home on schedule and the airline tickets have become more expensive. Not much fun listening to the game on the radio or watching the odd match via a poor video stream on the Internet.

will get excited bout next season when we sign some very good players,Mackie will be a good player for us but we need 4-5 others of real quality to push on,the likes of Hill,sam,clarke etc will never make me remotely pleased of them signing,thats if they do of course...

So we have all given our suggestions. The one thing all these strikers have in common is they are fairly decent. Decent equals money. Are we prepared to splash it? I still have no clue on this.
