he will do alright. hes better then vine, patrick, pelicori, german, hes only 24, granted if we dont buy 2 big name stikers to go wth him id be disspointed 2 but its a start. 25 goal striker is very hard to come by. every1 is on a budget so prem teams will be sniffing around the likes of hooper, beckford. 4 year deal is rediculous tho, he will create chances. need to buy sum1 else who can finish them

thats wat i mean.from what i seen of him he does look at good player but he isnt a natural goalscorer which we desperately need.

There is absolutely no point. I wouldn't even throw a 3 year deal at these players, I'd put a 2 year deal on the table. I mean lets be fair if we get promoted next season what use is Mackie gonna be? Thats not me being judgemental of the player but I think we are all aware of the lads limitations and what level he is likely to reach in his career.

As for Mackie I look forward to seeing a young energitic forward who is prepared to give his all.

w12 ranger spot on. 2 year deal maximum...make players work for an extension, to mnay players have it dam easy nowdays and can sit on there contract earning more then most people on here for doing sweet fa. i have faith in warnock and makie as he comes from where i am but 4 year deal is *****ic of the board.

were not after him im afraid mate.my family know his dad.works at heathrow airport.he was told by the club he was definately going to sign him in the january transfer window just gone but the club cnahged there mind.he was gutted
