2008/09 44 games 15 goals plus numerous assists.
2009/10 37 games 12 goals plus numerous assists.

Both seasons he was in a poor Derby team, with better players around him he will not only get more goals but will be a foil for players like Buzsaky, Faurlin, Cook, McAnuff(?) Hooper(?) etc.

      In Warnock we trust.

Like Morrison, Hulse would be a very good addition in a group of strikers. Like, Clinton I don't think that Hulse has another quality to play 46 matches and score the goals we need to win promotion. Both would be players who would work well alongside a Simon Cox or a Gary Hooper or even DJ Campbell if Blackpool don't go up.

I think we will probably buy at least 1 lump up front this summer and Rob Hulse would definitely fit the bill, but 1.5m for a 30 year old with 1 year left on his contract?........No chance, Derby want to be a bit more realistic. He's worth somewhere between 500k and 750k!

Ok first thing tomorrow I will learn to be Hulse, his my new hero
Chris, I read your posts and think you are sound geezer.
I know the level you play at and I have played at that level and above, so I know you must be pretty good.

What gets me mate is your disrespect of some players and managers in the professional game.

I have a good friend who is a league 1 manager and he is constantly scouting players and keeping progress on non league players, and from conversations with him I get a very good idea of the quality needed.

My point being that, you "knock" Rob Hulse, call him a donkey, say he has no skill etc. But the true reality is that if Rob Hulse was to play a full season for Buckingham Town; if you got 25 goals, Rob Hulse would score 60-70.

The skill levels are so superior that again, at your level, Rob Hulses, touch, movement and ability would look out of this world and he would be the best player in the league by a canter.

People often make your mistake in looking at a player and thinking, "Christ I have more skill than him and my touch is better etc" when the truth is, playing at a higher level you have to take into account a multitude of things, like big game mentality, playing as a full time professional is so different to non league.

Players who are mediocre such as Hogan Ephraim, Borrowdale etc, would be 2 maybe 3 steps ahead of any players at a non league level.

All I am saying is maybe you do not realise the difference in ability from Buckingham Town to even a league 1 - 2 side.

Do not mean this offensively at all, and would like to know your views on this.

                    Brilliant post!
I have also played non league and I couldn't of put it any better.
I think Chris love of the beautful game is because of all the 'real' donkeys he has to play with week in and week out, so I understand where Chris is coming from but the truth of the matter is that QPR have been crying out for a decent goal scoring target man for ages.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Can't understand why Derby are looking to get shot of a proven goalscorer at this level.

Big rumour on S****horpe MB's that Derby are in for Hooper.

I think he is up for sale because he has 12 months left on his contract and might be stalling on signing a new one.

He is on high wages which is why they want to cash in. Derby are broke remember.

He would be very good signging. Ignore the price tag, its the standard aim high and hope for the best. 750 - 1mil will be a good bit of business. Get a quick player to play off him and will be going the right way.

                          And Jeffro, well said.

If its a choice between us and Derby he would come here. He's from the south aswell.

Hulse and Hooper would be a good front 2.

Hulse gets goals and has ALWAYS caused us problems when we have faced him.
