Pete, would you mind telling us briefly what was said in your conversation with her? Was she upset at losing her job? What was the reason she was given for being dismissed? Hopefully we can discuss this in a civilsed manner... Over to you

Or unless it has been, you know, a private conversation, you are familiar with that concept? As in something that two people discussed and have the audacity of not telling you afterwards, no matter how much you huff and puff and despite your sorry threat of branding them liars? Diddums.

The last thing Sheila would want is to get embroiled in any politics and I have utmost respect for her feelings.

Just to say I have spoke to her a few of times since she left and spent most of the boat trip coming back from Charlton a few years ago speaking to her at length.

I can say she loved Jim Gregory and thought Gianni was in her words "lovely" and knew it was not his fault at all. Flavio was definitely at the forefront of the dismissal, I guess because he wanted some kind of skirt to be looking at (the last comment is my feeling). She also spoke highly of Ken Bates who she has worked under in the past.

terry ball, when it comes to personal things like this hope you can appreciate i cannot go into more detail and nor would I want to. Sheila is a very private person and the last thing I would want to do is involve her into this debate, but I have given you the basics. You won't be abstracting any more on the subject.

I even tried to get an interview with her, as she has more dealings at QPR than any of us in our lifetime. but she politely declined the offer

Happy to talk about other stuff as usual,

Kirill, no need for that sort of comment, trying to have a civilised debate and you should know better.

Pete, thanks for the reply. I appreciate you don't want to discuss the conversation but thanks for sharing that. I would like to find out the reason she was dismissed and never replaced, who was overseeing the secretarial role and how many other football league clubs operate without a secretary. Perhaps nodge or someone else might have an understanding on these points?

Of course she would think Paladini is a "lovely" guy, the underhand way of getting her dismissed was probably designed by him, but he got some other low life to undertake it, thus leaving him in the clear.
Exactlyt like he has done to former managers and Rangers legends.

Anyway, I think you're once again banging your head against a brick wall Terry mate.

So saying that Pete will be a liar if he does not divulge the contents of a private conversation to you is "civilised debate". Thanks for the clarification! I have had a difficult day at work but you have certainly cheered me up

Either contirbute to the thread or crack on with your work. Trying to inflame arguments should not be on your agenda. As a mod you should be setting a better example

My understanding is that whilst Terry Springett is nominally Club Secretary, Gianni is the guy who actually carries out much of that role. Would assume Terry is liaison with the Leagues in terms of disciplinary matters, rules and regs, stadium issues with Steve Pike... etc but Gianni does the players paperwork, player liaison and deals with the agents etc...
