Players who would improve us as a team are being written off as "useless".

The club are being critisized for being "tight", or lacking ambition... when we all wanted a manager to build a team to get out of this league.
We've got that now. And yet his (rumoured) targets are being pulled to bits on here.

Palace players are being labelled not good enough. They earned more points than us this season.
And the manager people say they trust has managed both teams this season, and has a pretty good idea about the merits of both squads.
And he knows what we need, and what we lack.

And yes I KNOW people are entitled to give their opinions on players/targets... of course they are.
But I think Neil Warnock knows more than any poster on here when it comes to building a team to challenge in this league... and that's my opinion.


With regards to the club lacking ambition, or being tight.. it's not as simple as a game of Championship Manager on a PC.

What can QPR do if Tosic himself wants to play at a higher level??
What can we do if someone like Hooper gets an offer from a Prem Club??
Or Speroni?
Or if Maynard decides that he wants to stay at Bristol, and play for Coppell?

To be honest I plead guilty to doing just this on this thread. This is how fickle I can be. We (QPR) are as rich as Man City, and some of the names of the players being listed do not seem to be awe inspiring. Every one of those players are probably very decent players, but when we have owners with the riches they have, surely players over the value of £2m are a realistic option.

I appreciate your honesty and it is something I have been guilty off in past but nowadays I do try to reserve judgment until I see a player in action for a good few games. Ok some are pants like Pellicori and you just knew he was rubbish within 10 mins but I see a lot of negative comments directed towards the likes of Clint Hill but lets be serious have these fans actually watched the lad closely in live matches to pass that sort of judgment. If yes then you should have been at LR not SP, catch my drift.

Fans need to stop looking at the riches of the owners and consider the bigger picture just like ST Prices we need to think what are the Club/Board really trying to achieve here.

9000 ST's is the achievement. IMO you have to speculate to accumulate. It's a catch 22 situation, money generated from ST's for players or new players for ST sales? The owners need to have faith and take a risk, otherwise it's just going to be same old, same old.
I do have faith in NW though. With what we have plus two good strikers and shore up the defence and a quality keeper, I feel we don't need to totally re-build. Just spend good money on 4-5 players.
