Should it happen and Blackpool win thru the playoffs will a ground that only holds 13,500 be enough for the prem?

Clubs with large away support and City, United, Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal will not be happy with their allocation.

Love to see Little Ole Blackpool up there upsetting the big boys with their small ground, especially when baltic winds whip of the Irish Sea in the winter. Tell you what there will be no better atmosphere in the PL with their support and drummer. As for the away allocation thats just tough.

Too many people are obsessed with ground size in the PL and seem to forget what is important. Our own ground has been good enough in the past and was good enough for Fulham as well, remove the restricted views and we could survive 5 years in the PL with a small expansion to the Elerslie Road stand. Who cares about leg room, there is no ground which brings you closer to the action than LR.

We could not survive financially playing at Loftus Road in its current state in the prem. We just wouldn't be able to bring enough income in through gate receipts, unless ticket prices at least doubled.

Off course we could survive, with players coming through a youth academy, a wage cap, prudent transfer dealings anythng is possible. The only thing which makes a club require greater gate recipets are salaries.

Look at the financial mess which football is in with clubs going into Administration left right and centre. The game is going to need a wage cap sooner or later and tighter regulation and a team like QPR will be best placed to step into that new game with tighter financial controls whlst the rest are left to pick up the pieces due to the excesses they have paid out in wages.

So I totally disagree with your point we could easily survive in the PL with our ground in its current state and possible expansion to one stand. If all esle fails we have the Mittals but I entirely believe we can become self sufficient in the PL as long as we have the right management team in place,a supportive board and patient fans.

Geeze, it will have to be. Blackpool will have to survive with average players, how will they afford the wage bill?

we averaged 14000 in prem so they will be ok....maybe they will actually now finish the sodding ground!???

Think they will get promoted. A Blackpool v Leicester Final is on the Cards. the 2 teams bang on form at the moment. They will get shedloads of money from tv rights etc to do up their ground.
