Yep, he did try. Unfortunately, for him, he did it as the Newcastle fans were mid chant and it totally drowned him out. Thankfully. The Tos*er.

On a sort of related point - I do wish Rangers would give a two minute warning or something over the tannoy about the restart of the game after the interval. Like many other places do where you can't see the pitch from the bars. I know it's my fault for pushing it a bit, but I I missed the sending off yesterday and didn't even notice for quite a while. As SAR was pretty full yesterday there were queues back up to the seats so I wasn't alone. What would it cost to just give it a "return to seats for kick off in 2" message?

And also did anyone notice the ref sprint to the tunnel at the final whistle . WHY !. was it cos he thought there was gonna be a pitch invasion or thought he was gonna get collared by some of the QPR players , but i thought he was supposed to wait for his assistants and maybe get some handshakes from the players . .. .. proper t.wat ref if you ask me.
