And what is your definition of a big club.
How many trophies won?
How many seasons spent in the top flight?
Cup finals reached?
Average attendance size?
Stadium size
or
size of ego?
Because apart from a slightly bigger support and stadium capacity, I see no evidence of Palace being a bigger club.Comment

i actuly apreciate when other supporters float onto our boards and disscuss but supporters like you go to prove what sort of supporters palace fans our
you dont know enough about football to comment
palace fans would be ashamed with you
the thing is we know are place we know where we stand, you have a delude vison of whats right in london footie teams
chelsea arsneal what ever we love our club no matter what
if i was a palace fan i would be saying id watch my team in combine leauge south and still be as fanatic as i am now
your probaly not old enough to know what its like to support palace out of the second tier, you will have a massif eye opener next season, all the nice little players you have had will not be coming through now until you get a very very nice investor and would still be finicial lunicy to undertake palace worse than us!!!!!!!
so talk football debate palace, qpr
dont come on here talking about championship clubs and having better fans because palace have neither! championship status or fans
jog on bblock
You lot should go into politics.
1 - How come we've recieved praise from countless clubs (add in Wolves, Villa, Peterborough and Ipswich for starters to the original list) yet according to QPR fans we're **** supporters?
2 - would QPR fans have been singing at 2-0 down at home? Even at 1-0 would you have been particularly loud?
3 - do you genuinely think your support was impressive at Palace. What did you think of ours at LR this season and last?
4 - the general reputation of QPR is of a little club. It has a little club feel, and whilst Palace are hardly a big club, we have a much better reputation as fans within the footballing community.
Please address the above points rather than launching into mindless drivel that is completely irrelevant.Comment

palace have had minor support for a team that have had a couple of season in the top tier
if rangers went to the prem there would be no empty seats
prime location for football unlike the dump that is called selhurst park

Fanbase. General atmosphere. getting into a top league is luck on occasions doesn't make you a big team. E.g. Fulham, Blackburn, Bolton, Burnley, Hull, Wigan - all little teams.Comment

we had one season in the top flight five years ago. the last time before that was 97/98.

And what is your definition of a big club.Leicester
Newcastle
Cardiff
Coventry
Watford
Middlesbrough
and others
all wrong about our support?
London in football terms is like this
Arsenal/Tottenham
Chelsea
West Ham
Palace/Charlton/Millwall
Qpr
Fulham
Brentford
we are a much bigger club than QPR and our fans are certainly better. everyone apart from you seem to know it.
Smacks of jealousy.

Blackburn actually have a very small attendanceI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

Historically you are a bigger club by about 2600 fans which means your a little bit bigger in terms of attendances which in fairness is not a great deal. Fulham for instance now average 23k that would indicate that they are a far bigger club than us and you but I think all except that is not the case.Leicester
Newcastle
Cardiff
Coventry
Watford
Middlesbrough

Jealousy? Not sure how you come to that conclusion, you are in admin, Phart is your manager, you are on the brink of relegation and losing all your players. I assume B Block is that little corner where 50-75 fans congregate with flags and do little dances to a few new songs you have just made up. It nice to see since you have entered admin your fans have rallied around the team and shown them for the best part fantastic support, but I ask you a question: Where was this fantastic support at Selhurst Park last season and the season before etc....I certainly never see the 'famous B Block' giving it large at LR this season.
Take a look at what happened to your attendances in the 80's following Terry Venables departure to QPR and exodus of a number of players. You were averaging 30k (well done) but within 5 years this was down to 6500k....I wonder if history repeating itself is around the corner for you boys?
