    Who are "They"??

    From DaveMc's match preview:

"Paulo Sousa returns to Loftus Road - where Swansea have never won a league game - for the first time since his troubled five-month spell at QPR was brought to an abrupt end last April.

Sousa has since guided Swansea to fifth place despite a number of key players being sold or injured since his arrival - an obstacle he also had to deal with at Rangers.

But problems on the pitch were the least of the ex-Portugal star's worries during his time in west London, where his management style was deeply unpopular with some members of the club's hierarchy.

They - and not Sousa - were eventually backed by co-owner Flavio Briatore
: a man who thought QPR was a restaurant before buying the club in 2007, but saw fit to criticise the double Champions League winner's tactics and team selections."

    So, who are "They" then?

To be fair anyone with a bit of common sense in authority, would jump to that conclusion.

i'd be gutted dreaming of Play Offs In Janaury to see it vanish by March.

See Lopez played in front of the back 4 and De carmine playing instead of Blackstock.

      But aye, thats history

Lopez was good IMO, disappointed when he didn't sign.

You must be more gutted to now see Swansea dreaming of the Play Offs in March this year, no?

Sorry, what "conclusion" are you on about?

I asked a simple question, not about play offs or Lopez or SDC or Blackstock, just about who the "They" were that dave Mc was referring to.

Weren't you going to ban people for hijacking threads?

            Ask me again in May

I too was dreaming of Play offs last February only to be disappointed.

            lightening often strikes twice.

            Tomorrow can go either way..

Swansea win and we'll hear how great Sousa is

QPR win and much of it won't even be discussed.

Personally if I had a grand would get on 0-0 and go to Antigua for 3 months, with the winnings

Ask you again in May who Dave was talking about? Why, will the answer have changed?

I know that for a fact, but this forum is not a place to discuss it. Water under the bridge and we are moving on with Warnock in charge

I'm sure if he was able to say directly, he'd have said so in his article. I'm just puzzled why he would suggest the problem wasn't with Flav when we were vehemently assured by various ITK posters that he had fallen out with Flav and was a "dead man walking", I believe the phrase was.

Still, Flav never called Paulo a c*nt in public.

How strange. It appeared to be the place to discuss it while the guy was still employed here, but not now he's gone. What an odd world we live in.

My powers of deduction lead me to think the one calling sousa a **** to supporters may have been one of the "they"
