i am going, not sure train or car atm.

I think there is a pub at the ground called the Jazz Bar or something if I recall. It is part of the stadium, but not inside.

There are no other pubs that close. Town centre, near station is full of pubs. Three guinies is by the station, it's a dive, but most convenient for train travelling fans.

Got my tickets today, leaving early about 530pm from Hillingdon, anticipating heavy road works around Reading.

u think it might be worth just getting a taxi back or something?

i know a few people that did that and they got back much quicker. i know last season the old bill advised that it will be much quicker to walk than wait for the buses. so a taxi may be the best option

Got free tickets from someone who works for Waitrose(Reading sponsor), so will have to sit in the North stand with the Reading fans. Hopefully keep my dad quiet!!

Have lived in Reading for 12 years and have never seen us beat them at the Mad-stad, maybe tonight is the night!!

Bit worried by people saying it can take along time to get back to the station on these buses after the game, my last train is at 11.15

It won;t take that long. Also you can walk it. It's quite far but easily done.
