    David McGoldrick

Burnley paid £1m last summer for Martin Paterson who had scored 13 goals in 34 starts the previous season for relegated Scunny. He'll be 22 in May and has since gone onto score 18 times for Burnley - very good value for money.

David McGoldrick won't be 22 until November and he too has scored 13 goals and is playing for a team destined for relegation.

Going on the fact that he is similar age, has similar experience, has had similar scoring success and that Saints are in financial difficulties his valuation is likely to be similar. I'm not keen on us selling Blackstock but if we are looking to get at least £1.5m from Dexter then we should reinvest this money into buying David McGoldrick.

Well I dont know much about the lad. Has he got pace? Its just I have seen milk turn quicker than our current centre forwards!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He's quicker than HH and Agyemang. He's young and as long as we don't rely solely on him he would be great in a quartet of strikers.

Dont forget Dexter Blackstock scored 12 goals for us when we were in trouble. He was only around 20 as well

13 goals in 3 seasons and lots of injuries as well doesn't make good reading.
