Much harder than anticipated. Cannot undermine no one in the Championship. But much needed three points. COYRSSComment

We gift away teams a goal and then they sit so deep its hard to break them down. We are so weak and dont have the gile to create too much.
We got out of jail there, and my nephew and his mates just missed the bullets in Krackow. Didnt see much of the first half speaking to him seeing the dead. So glad hes okay and the footie very secondary👍 2Comment

Yes, I feared for us when it was 1-1. We are a decent team but lack a cutting edge for sure. We should have beaten Bolton, Preston, and Burnley at home but struggle sometimes. It is feast or famine. I am happy for Kone though- but really not impressed by Justin O... - we need Kolli instead.Comment

Even with the advantage of foresight and knowing we won I still don’t think Stéphan uses his subs properly
Subbing off Vale for Chair was an upgrade as Chair has the tricks to play the 10 role but Vale doesn’t.
I thought subbing off both Kone and Poku weakened our goal threats, as both looked to be having had their best games of the season..

I didn't get to see the game today. I've escaped to the Caribbean for some winter sun. Really pleased we managed to get a win before the international break, judging by the comments we made hard work of it though.Comment

Glad none of that happened!Just don't see us winning this, I feel it'll be like the Bolton game where we don't have the guile or nous to unpick a stout rearguard and properly work the keeper. We don't seem to have figured out how to play against teams that are happy for us to have the ball and focus on giving us no space to use in the final third.
Given we're well into the season now and our style/approach is evident to all, I suspect Lincoln (and many teams in this division) will conserve their energy and not commit much effort to pressing Charles and will happily sit off us waiting to pounce from either a bit of sloppy play or a dead ball situation.
Additionally, I'd expect Imps to know how many players we have that are injury prone, or are fresh from recovering from a knock, and they'll put a few robust sturdy challenges in - I wouldn't be surprised to see two or three of our players limp off at some point. I expect them to do whatever they can to ruin our rhythm, frustrate us and sucker-punch us..... is up to us to counter that and leave their plan in tatters.
Ultimately, if we end this 3-game week with no wins I'd feel fairly confident in predicting another 15th place is beckoning in May - it's over to the players to put down a marker and start making a concerted and credible bid to be IN the top 8, not bumping along "just off" the top 8 (ie midtable gravitating gradually to 15th)😀 1Comment
