QPR v Burnley | Match Thread

[shaggy24]

Not too many played well against Southampton, I thought Jimmy was at fault for the first goal,Edwards gave a nervy performance, Kamara was a passenger, what did Smyth do? yet over all the forums Vale and Varane have become the boo boys.
Opta stats show Vale as leading QPR player for chances created and tackles made, I’m glad Stéphan judges players on what he can see with his eyes and not on fans skewed opinions.

Agree not many did play well v saints as for vale and stats they are skewed by him taking most set pieces and Madsen and chair not played for me he goes awol too often equally that tag a few in the squad could also wear

Pierce Charles passes a ball better than a top cm he’s a joke

He's our best attacker at the moment

My comment wasn’t aimed at you mate, I mostly agree with your views on players.

I don’t honestly know if Vale stats are just from set pieces but in my view Vale is the only CMF player capable of threading a pass into our forwards, look at how many times he’s already picked out Smyth or Kone tonight?

Not only is he being played out of position on the wing or as a number 10 (I think he’s a number 8 box to box player) but he’s probably one of the very few fit and available for nearly every game.

Do we actually practice shooting during training sessions? We're having a lot of scruffy, grabby, snatchy attempts but coming nowhere near testing the keeper.

Playing well and then wasteful all in a minute

Vale playing ok so far some poor touches from Kone and smyth from his passes he does release the ball quicker than chair

0-1

should of saved it but how the fk are we losing this all over them but gotta stop being wasteful

[SheepRanger]

We had so much pressure but we dont take our opportunities and then wollop! 0-1

[Sleeping Giants]

Lucky not to be 0-2 down...offside

[Abseits]

Poor from Edwards and Charles there.

Man Charlie Austin would score so many goals in this side. We're just lacking that little bit of quality in and around the box to create that little bit extra, snatch that goal, make that key run.

[shaggy24]

Ht Burnley are absolute dog turd poor which can also be said about out finishing

[LoftusRoadLad]

What a frustrating half that was

[Abseits]

This is not good at all. Totally ineffectual in terms of turning possession into goal threat - Burnley are shockingly off the pace but we're barely laying a glove on them. We need to seriously liven up in 2nd half.
