You could be right about Sutton because I have to admit that was my first thought when I watched him for the very first time when he played in the U18s

As we’ve already seen with Kolli talent isn’t always enough if a player wants to establish themselves as a first team player.

For me the best Managers are able to easily steer around those type of obstacles with players, I would have to be honest and say I’m not a huge fan of Stéphan decision making overall since he’s arrived.

Sutton has chance to impress at Worthing. He has to get into team every week. Decent couple of months, could be making of him, good on him for taking risk.

Brew on other hand flying at Worthing, starting every match. Impressive.

Charles has impressed so much, I hope hes not recalled to Citeh if they have some sort of Jan sales to pay a fine. It wouldn't suprise me to see him promoted to their bench.

Charles looks good. Expected it, City only sign decent prospects.

Can't see him going back. They have 2 experienced backups.

Hopefully, decent loan season for Charles will encourage others to join in future. One decent prospect each season.

Yes, they have two experienced back ups, right now.

But they might sell their fringe players to generate the fine money. They have been warehousing players for years and might dump some of the olders ones and keep some of the young prospects. I cant see them selling Charles, but might want him in their squad especially if a huge points deduction almost guarantees relegation to the championship at the end of this season.

It was a bit of a nightmare I had recently. I used to dream of Swedish sisters, now its our goalkeeper leaving!!!

Sutton starts for the first time replacing ex QPR striker Charlie Kendall in the Worthing line up

                    Sutton joined start of October.

3rd October, started, played 56 minutes.

10th October, subs bench, came on in 90th minute.

14th October, starts in National League Cup match against Ipswich U21s. Scores. Taken off in 72nd minute with his team behind. Not great.

Last nights match didn't matter. Brew, ever present for Worthing, didn't play.

Not great start, shouldn't be on subs bench or taken off early in game.

I was expecting him to have a bigger impact at that level despite vying for a spot with a more experienced striker in 25yr old Charlie Kendall.

Is it really a problem being subbed off in the 72nd min, it’s probably he was blowing out his Rs with little game time this season or that he had a knock.

Its all fine and dandy sending youngsters out on loan and demanding that they improve but it’s clear that most of our loan placements have previously been at mismanaged clubs for whatever reason.

Im not claiming Sutton to be something special because he has a serious defect in being so small, but I repeat he catches the eye right now for hitting the target if an opportunity falls to him.

As to Adjetey Brew on the 3 occasions I saw him he looks distinctly average at LB but he’s built like a barrel and appears to be utilising it well in men’s football. I watched his 2 goals he scored at the weekend and he’s looks to have a free role in an attacking sense rather than being a regular LB.
Right place. Right time. ⏰ Emmerson Sutton’s goal for Worthing! #QPR | #QPRDS

And this is probably why Kolli refused to go out on loan. If it falls flat your career will likely sink. Same with Morgan, if he cant get into a L1 side etc...

Kolli has probably been advised that he has two seasons to get into our first team and and rack up those appearances and a few more goals and get a 3yr deal with a L1 club if he leaves us, rather than having on record that hes already flopped at that level.

It looks to be a lottery when going out on loan when considering what happened to Kellman.

From memory he had 2 loans at Wigan and 1 loan at Gillingham where he didn’t appear to improve on his lacklustre appearances for the first team team with us.

He manages to get a loan at Leyton Orient where they had 2 ex premiership players on loan setting him up regularly and he ends up scoring 20+ goals many of which any non league players would have scored.
