I first heard that phrase around about 1972. I was stunned at the impudence of the little twerp who said it! I was under the impression that everyone supported QPR and we were the greatest football team ever and it knocked me sideways to receive an alternative view from a 10 year old Chelsea fan. This took place at someone's birthday party somewhere off Fulham Palace Road. Once I processed the information, I beat him up and got put on the naughty step for rest of the party and then in the doghouse on the 220 bus home with my mum afterwards. Luckily, my schools were all majority QPR fans so I never had my fuse lit again during those early "tween" years when I appeared to have disrupted hormones!
