Disappointing result & should’ve taken all 3 points, Bennie missing two sitters late on, started off slowly again

Hard to have a go at Bennie but any decent striker would have buried one or both of his chances especially the second one. If thats kone or kolli then we would have had all 3 points today.

Agree but Bennie is still learning, still only 19. I now actually see his position as a Striker whereas before I couldn’t figure out his best position. Think the composure will come, got himself in 4 great positions today, peeling off the defenders in last move and attacking the front post in one of his other moves. Could have done with a loan to League One this season, still think that would be best thing for his development next season.

Just got back. I thought we got what we deserved, far too slow and plodding in first half, complete lack of energy or oomph about us. Livened up a bit after their goal and finished strongly as PNE visibly tired in last 10 minutes.

Ultimately, too many of our players were mostly "going through the motions" and thus we pissedaway a chance to make it 4 wins on the spin AND move within 5pts of playoffs.

Muted dull atmosphere within the ground, felt like two clubs just meeting their contractual obligations to complete the 46-game programme. Be interesting to see if extending play-offs to include teams from 8th next season will make a difference to this sort of fixture

Just seen the lowlights and I cant believe Walsh was beaten for their goal. The strike accros him from the right wasn't even aimed at the far stick. It was off centre goal but still he couldn't get a hand to it.

Surely this is a keeper error from poor positioning?

For some weird reason, my calendar forgot to convert into Canadian time, so I assumed it was an evening KO (3pm here in Canada).

Going through QpR Plus just b4 3pm local time, when that wasn't working, started messing with my IPTV package and changing locations on my VPN.

Throwing things at the TV as I booked a holiday off work to watch the game today, then I saw the FT score come up on my phone.

We came out for 2nd half way before necessary - literally 5 minutes too early. Players stood milling about in centre circle until PNE and ref eventually appeared. We consequently started the half very slow and leaden-footed. They sprung a break on us when Morgan failed to cut out a through ball that sliced us open. Their guy broke forward with pace and conviction and our backline was horribly static and left TWO of their players free on the right of our box. When the ball came over, the first PNE player calmly steered it past Walsh first time. The whole move was slick, fast and caught us ball watching. The fact he did not take a touch didn't give Walsh time to set himself. I don't think Walsh was much at fault. It was swift clinical finishing.

You'd think that'd make sense BUT I'm not sure playing them in a team that seems to have decided to get their flip-flops out proves or shows anything? I dunno what full-backs we have kicking around in the feeder squads but I'd deffo take the opportunity to have a look at them.

Replacing Walsh with a safer pair of hands in Salamon just might send a message that keep selecting Walsh is not actually doing him any favours.
