regardless of comms he cant do the basics and yes we need a leader a proper Derry, clint hill leader Jimmy too quoet to be captain imoOriginally posted by topperharley View Post
Biggest problem i have with Joe is the defence seem so poor infront of him, must have bad comms.
But, whole team to a man have been ineffective tonight

i can tolerate getting beat by a better side what i cant tolerate is a lack off effort and the inability to do the basics right isnt good enoughOriginally posted by DJ Hooper W12 View Postsaid it all season no leader at all on pitch and not much off it if tonight any thing to go by
and how JS has made 5 subs and left Koki Saito wander around like a smiling school kid beyond me, unless hes left him on to save someone who will play saturday
Feel for Ronnie tonight Jimmy all over the place at times
Mbengue sorry the bloke is a liability and he cant pass cant cross
only positive is its a game closer to the end of season were miles off top 6 ever fully fit we carry to many not good enoughs in the squad 3 GK and all below the required level

Yes. We definitely come unstuck when we come up against teams in the groove. Looked like men against boys tonight, I get the feeling Saints barely got out of 2nd gear - they just fiddled about waiting for us to get out of shape or dither or squander possesion and then exploited the opportunities.Originally posted by Acton Stations View PostTonight was simply the difference between a side with serious intent to get into the play-offs and Queens Park Rangers.
Don't forget, they ARE a parachute money club and were amongst favourites for automatic promotion at start of the season. They have the squad depth and resources to last the 46-game campaign and we clearly don't.. we're spluttering to May. I suspect we'll win a few dead rubber matches at end of season, breach 60pts and declare the season a "success". However, I will remember the abject failure to step up to the plate in too many games this season.

Walsh was at fault for three of the goals. Mengue is a liabilty. Slipping and get caught out of position several times. Today we had the following playing.
Kolli
Morgan
Bennie
Adamson
Esquerdinha
Walsh
Well. That's half the team from DSquad. We are currently have a long list of players injured. Hope Madsen is not another.

I am reminded by the way Harry Redknapp needed Steve Mclaren whilst at QPR. Harry was not up to it after Steve left. JS seems to be good at progressing the young players which is what we need in our financial position but we also need a tactician and he doesn't seem to be that. We don't need a change of manager, we need somebody to work alongside JS. Even Brian Clough back in his day needed Peter Taylor at his side.
