I see that Paul Furlong has left the club.

Sad to see him go - been a great servant for the club both as player and coach.

Provided one of the greatest moments in Loftus Road history when he literally shook the ground to its foundations with the play off goal.

strange time to leave...maybe a better offer has come in? or been an internal reshuffle.

good luck to hm in whatever comes next.

Well, there's a new methodology manager for the 17-21 year olds and I'm guessing Paul didn't fit in with that methodology. Possibly another break with the past so as to embrace the all consuming love of the laptop. Will it be beneficial in the long run? Does It actually help the club progress? Or, is it just another shuffle towards being a sausage factory for the bank balance? Time will tell, I guess.

Whether it's the right decision or not, it's another loss of a link to the club's past and identity.
