Chair

I wouldn't write Chair off just yet, he's just not a winger. I have always seen him as a number 10 but successive managers keep using him as a number 11. Given these pair of gaffers also seem to think Jimmy Dunne is a number 2 instead of a number 5 I feel more inclined to question their judgement rather than dig Chair out.

BUT.... how long is it since we saw Chair playing well? Must be well over 2 years now. I realise there has been off-field stuff and a succession of niggly injuries but it's kind of ####-or-get-off-the-pot time now for him.

Thinking about it, I think it's crunch time for a lot of our players this month, and the manager too. We've seen enough games this season to enable us to start making informed assessments about how they're doing individually and collectively.

I said before on here that I think he’s the most overrated player in the championship. Quality delivery when he doesn’t do the pathetic short set pieces that inevitably end up with the opposition on the attack.
if he was truly as good as Andy Sinton, Sky commentators and some on here believe he is, he wouldn’t be playing for us.
