It really doesn't matter when the ironically called finanicial fair play rules mean that no teams outside the the big 7 or 8 can spend money to compete. It's a closed shop now and regulations keep it that way.

Our current owners have already done the thick end of £300m and don't seem willing to double that.

Any new owner would be better off throwing their £300m towards a new stadium that could increase our revenue and therefore the squad budget.
