Like it or not, the club extended Frey's contract to the end of next season. Surely that was on the basis that he offers something different to Kone, Burrell & Kolli. So, Frey will always be in the mix with Kolli fighting it out with the other three, and our other players who can go Nos 10 if we play one up top.

I wouldnt like to sell Kolli, but he needs to go out on loan to L1 and advised that as a young man, he needs to grow a pair and switch to a professional management agency whilst thanking his dad for everything hes done for him to date. It's a difficult conversation for him to have with his dad, but such is life as an adult.

I don't dislike Frey. He is our most physical forward and if his role is to stand in an advanced position and syphon off balls to faster players he can be effective. However this season he plays the same as the other forwards which means lots of running. That is most definitely not his game! Is way too slow and makes it so easy for defenders.

He cant help it if he's only had a handful of appearances though. He might be pretty duff or it might be he's pretty good, who can say?

He was getting run outs a couple of years ago under Ainsworth but then the club eased him out the way in favour of the obviously useless Armstrong. Now he's left out in favour of the increasingly decrepit looking Frey.

Well something needs to happen between now and transfer window - he cant perennially be this missing presence about the club.

From what I've seen of Kolli, which I admit is not much, he seems to have something about him, I think there could be a decent player in there if given the chance but who knows for sure.

            Agreed.

His goals and assists per minutes played are decent. But hes not getting a look in. If we need the money for a LB or RB then sell him. If we can recruit without selling him, then loan him out to L1 for the remainder of the season. But JS isnt going to play him right now.

Kolli in 3rd full season with first team.

He has ability, I was hopeful he'd make impact. It's not worked out. Behind Kone and Burell for centre forward. Behind Chair, Dembele, Smyth, Saito and Poku for wing positions.

No room, for his own future, needs to leave either permanently or loan.

                Move him on.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.
