  • Qpr style of play

Seems to me the new coach is introducing new things players can’t do. If we really have an effective head of methodology that designed the patterns of play why are the players interviews saying things are new?

As many might remember I defended Ainsworth's style against the hoof-ball critics and was pleased that he used a more direct style of play, with longer passes........not sticking your boot through the ball giving it the "ave it" shout.

I hated Marti's style of play but understood why he did it with injuries mounting and a thin squads. But he persisted with it and bored us to sleep.

Im really please that Julien had realised tippy tappy puts our players into a non-responsive trance and has the confidence to change the style of play with longer balls for our runners to get on to. Also, getting the ball away from the defence as quickly as possible is also great for my heart.

Our new style....hopefully it continues....may not be good for premiership scouts, but it will be for picking up points and the intensity is much more enjoyable to watch.

Anyone missing Marti's style of play?

Sheep I'm not missing ainsworth style of play as it means I'm not watching the rangers on a cold dark day up in Doncaster because that's where ainsworth was taking us until Marti transformed the side.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Because it IS new… new manager, new coaches, new training methods, new players.

Very early days. Julian is trying to make us more adaptable; we have been rigid in recent years, and now we are working towards changing systems. Give it time; it will come

          The Big Sam approach

Former Bolton and Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce speaks to BBC Sport about whether modern football is adopting the playbook he was enacting more than 20 years ago.

Im so please Julien has decided to mix things up a bit and we've ditched Marti's "forward thinking" style.....boring!!!!

They say the best form of defence is to attack.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.
