  • Any sign of a striker?

Haven’t seen any sign of a striker during pre-season. Must be all crocked?? Anyone got the inside track?

Frey injured but I thought I read that he was due to join the squad for training later this week?

Kolli recovering from injury which I think was his hamstring. Or, being kept away from playing pending being sold...????

Celar still recovering from injury or waiting to be sold? Was he the one I read was joining the squad later this week?

      Bennie is fit and ready.

Burrell only just joined so may be on the bench on Saturday after training with the lads this week.

Lloyd must surely be heading out on loan

Still rumours Ba is awaiting to join when his visa is issued. Im guessing that there's more to this than just the visa. Perhaps we're waiting for Lloyd, Celar or Kolli to head out to free up the wages in the budget first?

      All as clear as mud!!

Nothing to worry about. It's modern football and "strikers" are an anachronistic throwback to the old-fashioned suboptimal thinking of English coaches. Nobody needs or wants a striker nowadays, it's a waste of a shirt that can be given to a 5'3" 7 stone midfielder......

It's actually a fact that NO player wants the number 9 shirt anymore cos it means they are not in the manager's plans.

We just have to let it go and marvel as goals fly in from all over the place and all positions....... into our net

Celar looked sharp the two games before he got injured last season, wouldn’t it be great to see the same form if selected on Saturday.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

He won't be playing Saturday if his misses gave birth last Saturday. In the UK, as an employee of a company, he's entitled to two weeks paternity leave to support his wife and baby. When he gets back to work from this traumatic and stressful life event he will need to get match fit.

                I #### you not.............

God forbid he did the job he's paid for. Any chance he can score a goal when he does play? Id really appreciate it!!

Problem is don, like Dave said he's probably still the best striker we've got which sort of says it all. Hopefully we will get some more bodies through the door
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I don’t recall saying he was the best striker in the club, I said he came good for 2 games before he got injured.
