His football is slow and predictable and so so boring to watch .
Get the ball forward as quickly as we can and get efforts on goal .
I want to be entertained i turn up every week , I can't go to Oxford not after watching that rubbish last Saturday.
Our squad is weak and so are martis tactics .
I need to take you for a beer 1 home game because you really need some common sense shaken into you. Marti is a bloody good manager and we're lucky to have him. What you need to look into are the facts. Rangers are the 20th highest payers in terms of player salaries hence why we will be losing players like Dunne as the end of the season. You get what you pay for and unfortunately at this moment we can't afford to be more than one of the lowest payers in this division. If we get good eze money I'd love that to be given to Marti so he can be judged on a more level playing field but until that day comes we need to remember the facts and I remember the good old days just like you of the 80's and 90's but those days are rare where teams punch above their weight!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The question for me is why can’t he motivate the team to turn in a better performance than Saturday and many games previously against potentially poorer sides

Playing non-risk football to avoid increasing the injury list?

We realistically need one more win to near secure safety. At some point we need to up our game!!

The bigger problem to me, Weare, Sheep and 72, is that this team have shown, budget and injuries included, that they can play forward thinking, entertaining, attacking, adapatble (ie not always attacking) football. Yet too often, we look poor.

I guess many team have the same issue not everyone is good week in and week out.

The criticism is born from some odd decisions of late and from some rather below par performances. These can be explained away in several ways but the original point still stands.

You're delusional WEARE , yes we have a poor budget but a good manager will get you higher than your budget warrants. Not only is Marti's win ratio poor , his football and tactics are atrocious. Injuries have been a problem but that is partly down to a manager to sort out as well , for me it does'nt matter how much money Marti gets to spend because his negative , must not lose football , does'nt work in the Championship. I say get rid of him and get a proven British manager in like Cooper that knows British football and this division.

Marti must have a lower points per game than Ainsworth now?

Would you believe me if I said Gareth's win % was actually 17 percent? It's all bs anyway because Ian Holloway always had over 30 percent so would you have him back?

I wouldn't want Cooper unless the club have lost their tin opener, I think his teeth would solve at least that issue

Not quite Sheep. Don't know how up to date Wiki is but according to that respective records are:

                    Marti - 23-20-21

                    GA - 5-4-19

Not sure that includes recent poor runs. Marti did great overall last season, very up and down this season with too much on the down side.

He does need to get his finger out as we are fast running out of games to secure our place in the division. We are just one bad set of results from bang in the relegation battle and this team does not look up to a battle.

But Marti is still digging, he's got several more games to add further shitstains to his ratios. The race isn't over.....

Marti has a lot to do to be regarded as a decent manager. These peaks and troughs need to end. He seems just as happy to turn off the burners as turn them on.

With another window coming up he's got until Xmas to show proper progress. The injuries has meant the squad has now got more experience and that might be the difference needed to be top 10 next season.

He's nursing this squad too much in my opinion.

I completely agree. I really like Marti the man, and I really do think he can be a very good manager, but he's got to improve the consistency, the football needs to make the best of the players available and it really does need to be a bit more entertaining. No one is expecting Real Madrid here, but it's poor to often. Once again i say this is frustrating because we're not looking at Ainsworth here, when this sqaud is firing it looks fantastic, we've played, in small snippets, fantastic football.

Becuase we have gone backwards Marti is under scrutiny.

I agree until Christmas, but for me it's how he handles these last few gales leading into summer, we have no reason to scrape to safety. Oxford was a win because we played better, sure, but largely it was a win because Oxford were terrible. We bundled two goals and spent too long on the backfoot when we didn't need to.

I want to see some confidence in the football in the last few games this year. I want that confidence to carry over into summer. If after this summer window we can't hit the ground running next summer, then i'll fall on the side of Marti out, right now I'm all about him staying, with expectations.

He talks a good game and im sure he's a very competent manager. But from edging towards the play offs to being concerned about relegation is not acceptable. But he has plently of reasons to justify this, such as injuries, young players and those about to leave etc

He needs to sit down with Nouray in the summer and they jointly need to sort this squad out. Let the aging players go and replace them with younger guys who won't break down, look at the performance dept and see why these injuries are happening and get players with longer contracts.

Our squad seem to be looking for reasons not to be fit and that may tell a story about Marti as well. I genuinely think the likes of Warnock would have done better with this squad. I'm getting the vibe that the players aren't on the same page as the manager. As Matt Le Tissier said of Glenn Hoddle, brilliant technician but zero man-management skills. Marti does come across as a complete dullard.
