As he is still under contract to us, unless we've agreed a transfer fee, can't be true..

I don’t get the negativity, people banging on about what he was like I’m more interested in what he is like now.
if he hadn’t played for us and we signed the division top scorer, in the team of the season and bangs in 2 in the playoff semi, we’d be quite excited.
ive only seen him him in the playoffs so limited views and he looks decent, good movement can run with the ball and clearly knows where the net is.

The lads banged in 27 goals stayed fit for the season played in his better position a cf a position we’ve got Frey can’t stay fit kolli can’t stay fit a new manager may play to his abilities and not sling him right wing even if he’s got 10 for us it’s more than a cf for us has got
Deserves pre season and a run imo

Yep, I have no idea on his contract situation, but if he's available to us, I think this makes sense. This season our top scorer was Frey with 8 goals, last season I believe it was Chair or Lyndon with 6 or 7.
27 goals albeit in League one is impressive. I've watched a couple of Orient games, his goal in their win at Wrexham in Feb was a very decent strike.

Yes. Plus I can't see Os or him signing a deal until it is known what division they will be in come August.Originally posted by knocker View PostAs he is still under contract to us, unless we've agreed a transfer fee, can't be true..
I suspect that right now he has the highest transfer value he will ever have - we should be able to cash-in nicely.

So, we are crying out for a decent striker; we had been very limited with strikers since Eze scored 14 goals and left ... and what we do? We sell a player thar scored 27 goals without given him a run in our first team! I assume sending players out on loan is to get some experience and believe in their ability. No wonder we always get decisions wrong.Originally posted by Abseits View Post

I can’t see the four of them collectively getting 27 goals.Originally posted by Hoopsah View PostDoes anyone see Celar, Frey, Lloyd or Kolli scoring 27 goals in league 1? We simply have to give him a chance next season!
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

I would agree and think thats nailed on.Originally posted by 72bus View PostKelman in Lloyd out ....
But the bigger question is whether we replace Celar. We only play one up front and surely Frey, Kolli and Kelman would be sufficient. Also, with a new "footballing" manager Spurs may let us have YMH for a full season which would give us another option.
We are rumoured to have paid €2m for Celar and if we can €1.5m back then i think that money would be better spent elsewhere in the squad. We need another midfield enforcer for sure.

Given the injury record of Frey and Kolli I'd say we need 2 or 3 back up strikers. Plus who knows, the next gaffer might be a dinosaur who actually likes attacking and plays 4-4-2, 4-4-3 or, hold on to your hat now, 4-2-4!Originally posted by SheepRanger View Post
