Yeah, Norwich losing and Brizzle & Wed both dropping two points had either won. And we have these two to play home. Things going our way elsewhere, but we still have to do it ourselves.
Hopefully we can win on Sat, Brizzle beat Blackburn, Coventry beat Watford and after a great win tonight, Portsmouth get something at West Brom.

Yeh I wasn't trying to be a killjoy and I'd be happy to be proven wrong but I would rather we just got 50 points asap and I reckon there will be a few more bumps in the road. We aren't completely out of danger of being dragging back by those under us. We are a mid table team imo.
Would love us to sign a left back and a striker. If we can get somone in who can get 8/9 goals between now and may then it could prove huge.Comment

It does have to be noted that we are very much at the tail end of the playoffs fight, yeah we're a game up but only 3 points of 6th place.
Surprised myself when i looked at the table last night.
If we'd beaten Wall or Weds we'd be 7th. If and buts but hey that's pretty cool.
Personally feel we're better off not getting carried away but it's cool for the team to look up. Especially for a player like Jimmy who is being tempted by shiney things, when the shiniest thing could be right here infront of him.Comment

Whatever happens we are leaps and bounds ahead of what we were and we are a joy to watch. Play offs maybe but relegation battle definitely not. Still can’t decide if there was a pivotal moment when it all changed but so glad it did. Back to where we belong!!Comment

Smyths goal against Bristol, i know we'd gone afew unbeaten before then but that goal was a never say die kind of strike that lifts a dressing room.Comment

You will drive yourself nuts if you look at the table and gap to the top after every game. We are 9 or 10 wins away from the 70ish points needed, so 10 wins from 15 games is a very stiff challenge indeed, there's no room for a slump and even a "blip" against a struggler would be pretty disastrous.
We are actually in the bottom half of the table and just beat a team on a poor run of form (2 wins from last 11 I think) but having lost to two teams on a decent run of form.
Last night was a decent performance and an entertaining and nailbiting watch. But, we need to be more clinical and much tighter as a unit with no dumb/naive/sloppy play in every remaining game. Keeping Colback fit would be a big bonus, he doesn't seem phased or constipated by any of it - he could be the "Shaun Derry" of the 15-game charge.
Anyway, let's see if this thread can keep running for a month or two and take it from there.Comment
