He's a midfielder.Originally posted by djp View PostWe must have been so desperate to sign Vale because clearly we didn’t even bother with a medical.
Doesn’t sound like he wants to play LB either judging by his comments

Yes he is but played LB most of last season on loan at Bristol Rovers last season. Most of us assumed he had been bought in as Paal replacement, by reading his comments it sounds like he would prefer to replace Smyth. As Chelsea signing go, let’s hope he is more Clive Wilson than Todd KaneOriginally posted by SheepRanger View Post

I don't see it posted here that we actually signed the Brazilian kid... probably because it says he went into developmental but I really don't picture this kid is going to stay in developmental long.
He should be getting game time against Derby and Cardiff in those upcoming games and see how he does.
This kid going down the left with Chair is going to be something fun to watch. Just hope he can defend too.

Overall I'd say happy.
Need to round it off with a contract for Jimmy.
Shame the Vale kid is injured but looks like a decent enough prospect for next year. He's got the face and name of a posh git (sorry but he does) so lets hope he's not afraid to graft on the pitch.
Big question is now, have we started a slide back to normality, has our luck run out, or can we shake off the last 2 games and make something happen tonight.

Be handy if we could tot up 4 more wins pretty sharpish in order to secure mid-table obscurity for remainder of the season and give Marti option of giving this new lad and other developmental squad lads plenty of minutes and experiment a bit. Hopefully with this Brazilian kid it's a case of the club trying to dampen down expectations and keep a lid on the hype but in reality he will be soon be part of matchday squad.Originally posted by LordLoftus View PostI don't see it posted here that we actually signed the Brazilian kid... probably because it says he went into developmental but I really don't picture this kid is going to stay in developmental long.
