First games he's played for long time. Not 100% fit in my view. It'll take few more weeks.

I doubt he'll be with us next season.

He needed games to put himself in "shop window", we needed goals.

Whilst I agree that dykes isn't a very good striker I still think he has a part to play. Frey is another seb poulter. He is slow and doesn't win much in the air. He's a box player. End of.

Also, some people on here forget that it was dykes who laid on the first goal for chair v Leicester. His run, taking a look up and cross for illy was superb. Something frey wouldn't be able to do. Just saying.

One assist to crow about isn't really something for us to laud mate I'm afraid.

He's a really poor player and the sooner we're rid of him the better.

Right now for me:

Frey simply for his efforts which hassles defenders and frees up others to shoot, move the ball about and gives defenders a game at least.

Armstrong for his tenacity, enthusiasm and unknown factor.

Dykes would always be a last resort for me as he just doesn't offer enough. Offers v v little tbh.

If we had a striker that could net goals, doesn't have to be a worldie, an in form Nahki Wells would have been enough with the rest of the front line we have, we'd be mid table i reckon.

In the Boro game ( twice ) rather than jump with the defender for a long high ball , Frey jumped Into the player , giving away two free kicks .... Then shouted his disapproval at the linesman for flagging for a foul.
Hope I'm wrong and he gets up to speed and makes a impact.
