Really don’t understand the abuse King Austin is getting. He’s a regular poster on here and if he’s heard something I believe him. It may or may not be true but that’s not the point, this is a forum where we should all be allowed to post what we think or hear without getting abused.

I get that KA believes his intel and I respect that but I just don't see this being correct. The club has reduced its wage bill and created income from sponsorship from selling its soul (Loftus Road name) to counter the scourge that is FFP. The owners are losing shed loads in operating costs every month and yet they default on a relatively small FFP fine (the fact that the fine is relatively small is scary coz it was huge) Why would they do that if you're gonna get an FFP execution anyway? Time will tell but I'm not a believer at this point in time.

Yes. The idea the EFL just give up on pursuing the outstanding amount and simply apply a one-off points deduction to a team already falling out of the division is naïve if not daft.

I'd expect points deductions every year the debt is still behind the agreed repayment schedule plus additional interest lumped on top.

Football cannot allow a situation or precedent where guilty clubs try and weasel out of their punishments after things have quietened down.

As part of being granted mrmbership to the league you agree not to challenge the FA in court. If you want to go against that you risk being kicked out of the league, or you would need very deep pockets to cover the legal costs.
