      22/23

      Top Two 81 points
      Playoffs 69 points
Stay Up 45 points (Reading -6, so 50 points really).

      21/22

      Top Two 83 points
      Playoffs 71 points
Stay Up 38 points (Reading and Derby deducted points, so 48 points really)

      20/21

      Top Two 88 points
      Playoffs 71 points
Stay Up 44 points (Sheff W -6, so 45 points really)

      19/20

      Top Two 82 points
      Playoffs 70 points
Stay Up 49 points (Wigan -12, so 50 points really)

      18/19

      Top Two 84 points
      Playoffs 74 points
      Stay Up 41 points

Based on last 5 seasons not including points deductions, you'd need a minimum of 81 points to finish in the automatic places. Playoffs require a minimum of 69 points and to avoid relegation 51 points has been enough.

Going back 10 years, 51 points has been enough to survive every season. However, you would have been relying on goal difference in 16/17 season as Blackburn went down with 51 points as Forest survived on the same total.

We require a further 35 points to reach 51 points, an average of 1.30 points per game in our remaining games.

I've seen talk of playoffs on here...that would require a minimum of 1.96 points per game. Not going to happen!
