  • On my way home

Saved at the end by our first goal in what seems like years at the Loft end. Make no mistake tonight we nearly lost to a truly dreadful team, good to see a team worse than us.
Time to remove Armstrong from the starting 11, too raw and lacks composure at critical times, may come good eventually but means we hit long hopeful balls for him to chase, Kakay tonight was truly dreadful and we cannot have him and Smythe defending together.
Smythe can be a real handful as a winger and should not be defending.
Again cannot fault effort but at times we are careless with the ball, Willock out of sorts and became frustrated with himself, again we allowed Swansea far to much possession for a home game.

Still worried about lack of goals in this team and it could be a long season.
Small passionate crowd who deserved the equaliser.

Couldn't see our goal coming , there is so much wrong with this team .
Agree on Sinclair he was truly ineffective and this isn't his level , we were much better when dykes came on.
Kakay can't fault him on effort but his positional sense is dire , willock and Dozzell are weak and slow can't have them both on the pitch at the same time .
motm for me was field he just breaks up play , runs past his own players to put in tackles and has a desire to win the ball that others don't...

Team selection sums up lack of faith in bench. Colbeck suspended, plays Willock. Clearly, Ainsworth doesn't rate Dixon-Bonner.

Agree about Dozzell being slow and weak. Not aggressive enough.

Chair and Willock not in sync at the mo and can see Chair was frustrated with him,
Teams are now figuring Armstrong out. Stop him at all cost.

Armstrong is nieve especially with being constantly being offside needs to come on towards the end of the game not starting it.

Agree with your thoughts here, Just wish GA had added Dykres earlier (swapping out Willock) to support SA, as although good at passing the ball Swansea really didnt do anything great.
PS Why was Berkovic captain? It should be Sam Field IMO.

really frustrating game last night - Swansea were so poor but we still managed to make them look good!

our approach play is good but then it slows right down and becomes very predictable - and sadly that is normally when the ball gets to Chair or Willock - they want so many touches and seem to want to beat their man 3 times before looking to see who is available - giving the opposition defence so much time to get set.

the one time Chair decides to whip in a cross first time we score. Incredible header by Dykes - he should definitely be our starter and maybe with Armstrong as a pair.

Thought Swansea were dreadful and will be lucky to stop up

If we got another CF id only use SA as impact sub guys got no composure infant of goal and his 1st touch is a sliding tackle 2nd touch. FFS someone explain offside rule to him.

                  Field must of run 15k
Dozzell nice pass to SA who missed by a county boundary line he has improved under GA
ideally we need someone in CM who can pick a pass
Willock at least tried rather he was upfront with Dykes

                  Chair usual only real threat
Smyth rapid but his crossing is shocking at times

All in all draw fair result could of won there goal handball

Roll on Friday GA happier for us to sit and counter way were set up

Couldn't work out why Smyth wants to blast it high when crossing , low and hard as they had big defenders

We should whipping in cross after cross after cross for Dykes. Its where he is most dangerous.
