When do the walking wounded run again?

It's maddening to see Stef, Roberts, Amos, and Balogun STILL out after a five week World Cup break. What gives? Is this normal?

I'd treat stef very different to the likes of Amos and Roberts. At least stef wants to play and when he does he actually does his job and makes a difference. Amos rarely plays and when he does he looks well off the pace. Roberts has been a waste of space since he joined. Send him back. Taking up a place in the squad.

It may be that Amos’ many injuries have now caught up to him. Leon probably saving himself for a Beale call. Agree re Stef. The Roberts deal is puzzling, but we need another offensive midfielder/striker.

I think there's an element of the ridiculous schedule of games compressed into a shorter timeframe over this and past two seasons catching up with many players. I know PNE were missing players on Saturday so I suspect it's not just us experiencing irritating and niggly injuries.
