Getting really worried about my club and the direction it’s going in , am I worrying too early ? Just doesn’t seem to be anything to be positive about , doesn’t seem much talent coming out of the youth team and it really doesn’t help when the fools Brentford palace and scum are all doing ok in the Prem , need this cycle to change soon , just feeling a bit sick in the stomach!!!

Completely agree. Very poor squad. Don't let Jeff see this as he's more than happy with the direction we're heading

Squad can only be judged when the transfer window has closed. Im struggling to understand why some dont get this??? Im confident we'll have an additional CF and other players to come back into the first team too.

We'll be mie-table and may get close to 6th after a run but then tail off.

It would seem that our players are not the sellable assets i thought they would be. Only Willock seems capable of making decent money but as others gave said he injuries may be putting off bidders. Its hard to get youngsters through when local lads go to prem academies, but we do pick up some decent ones that get released from that system.

We're doing just fine if you accept our standing as a championship club. When we were in the premership we were punching above our weight. Bigger clubs than us have failed to maintain that status.

OK mate would almost definately know you by face , well maybe not now as we've all changed a lot.
I used to be a tall skinny ####er now i'm a tall fat ####er , there used to be 6 or so of us from Harrow as well.
Was on the first c/mob coach to Preston 1980 then carried on till about 1990 , stopped going until about 1996 then started taking my boy , he kept me out of trouble.
Did A the greek looking fella , the one that defected to Chelsea in about 1984 come with you lot ?

Yes John the Greek , not seen him in years he moved to Chessington he doesn't get out socially with any of us anymore. . I remember Alan and Kirk from over yr way

Ashley I saw him with his Chelsea mates , he tried to deny it . Really odd that he chose to change teams at his age . Zippy told me MW nutted Ashley

I'm much happier about the club than I was when Hughes was here. The happiest i've ever been was when i really started supporting the club when Gerry was managing at the start of the Prem.

Right now I'm right in the middle those two happy and not happy positions.

Did'nt hear about MW nutting him but it would'nt surprise me because MW did like putting the nut about. Was you on the mini bus that left the bush on the Friday to go to Blackpool in the cup 82? We only made it as far as Banbury and all spent the weekend in the cells , that all started with an MW nut.
Ashley was well in with Chelsea's firm , last i heard about 10 years ago he went to live in the States.

Apart from Roy always found the bush lot quite cliquey . All of them were a bit older than us . I liked Ashley too.
we all got nicked the week before Banbury got in a fight with American soldiers and we got remanded in custody to Lewes prison .
