We are two players away from being ready for the season.

Clearly RB is the top priority.

The other? A solid defensive midfielder to spell Field at times.

Bonne making me a believer; lessons need for another forward (though I am sure we’ll look at getting a veteran in on loan.

I think we will get another 4 or 5 signings before the transfer window shuts. Some of these will be loans, signed once the Premier League has announced their 25 men squads late in August.

I guess:

* One right back
* One versatile player that can be cover at left back, as Hämälainen/Drewe is not solid enough cover for Paal
* A central midfielder
* One or two strikers

We let 13 players leave, and even though many were fringe players, we need some more strength in depth and I think there are budget for it.

I think following players will be sent out on loan: Hämälainen, Bettache, Thomas, Duke-McKenna, Bonne, Mahoney. If we sign just one more striker, Bonne might stay.

I struggle to see that Owens, Kakay, Masterson and Gubbins will get much game time but I suppose we need squad depth.

Things will obviously be different if we make a big money sale, like Willock.
